David Wigington is the lead pastor at Cornerstone Christian Fellowship. He, along with Cornerstone’s 14 founding “core group” members, founded the church in 1997. Prior to that he pastored in Lake Station, Indiana, and served as associate pastor in Jeffersonville, Indiana. David’s two core passions in ministry are communication and missions. David has been invited all over the world to speak and teach about leadership and missions. His ministry has taken him to over 30 countries. His favorite country is Tanzania, where CCF has built eleven churches. In its first 15 years, CCF has given over $1.2 million dollars to missions and built or started over seventy churches around the world. David is married to Shana, who leads worship at CCF. They have two boys, Nathan and Adam. His hobbies are photography and golf. He’s also quite happy to talk about Apple products with you while sipping a beverage from Starbucks.
Pastor Lana has served as CCF’s director of children’s ministries since 2005 and has been a licensed minister of Christian education since 1998. Lana gave her heart to the Lord at five years of age and has passionately pursued Him ever since. Now she strives to instill that same passion in the “Kingdom Kids” of CCF. Lana’s favorite area of ministry is Vacation Bible School. She’s been privileged to lead VBS in Swaziland, Africa, and at the Mechrey Floating School in Cambodia. Lana has been remarkably blessed, as her entire family supports and ministers with her: husband of 21 years, Neal; son Carson, age 16; son Ben, age 12; and, daughter Annie, age 8. Lana loves people, so it’s no surprise that her hobbies include meeting new people, striking up conversations with absolute strangers, and hearing the life-stories of store clerks and wait-staff.
Resolved College Ministry
Nick Pridemore pastors Resolved campus ministry, which is geared towards students at IU and Ivy Tech. He met his disproportionately attractive wife, Merry, at Central Bible College, where they both graduated with ministry-related degrees. Nick is currently working towards a doctorate in organizational leadership of Christian ministry.
Before coming on staff at CCF he served as a Light Armored Reconnaissance Infantryman in the Marine Corps. He completed two tours in Iraq and got to introduce 31 of his fellow Marines to Jesus for the first time. Nick’s passions in ministry are expository teaching of the scriptures, reaching those marginalized by mainstream religion, and fostering community among believers. Nick and Merry have three offspring: Calvin, Adison, and Amelia, who are often setting records in the areas of awesome and cute. When not chasing tiny Pridemores, Nick likes rock climbing, riding motorcycles, mountain biking, chasing Frisbees, and getting drawn on.
Our pastor’s wife, Shana Wigington, is the worship leader and leader of the Women’s Ministries here at Cornerstone. She loves to lead the church into God’s presence in worship knowing that this sets the stage for hearing God’s Word and she takes this responsibility very seriously. Her ministry to the women of Cornerstone is something dear to her heart and she shares this responsibility with Donna Todd as they strive to reach out all the women of our church and community. Shana was raised in a pastor’s home and grew up loving church. After a call to ministry in her teen years, she attended Southeastern University in Lakeland, FL to pursue God’s call. She graduated from Southeastern in 1993 with a degree in vocal performance and music ministry. But the best thing about attending there was that she met the love of her life, Pastor David, and married him 3 months after graduating. They have two sons, Nathan and Adam, and have spent their lives together in ministry. Her desire is to allow God to use her in whatever way He desires, to encourage and be a blessing.
Jared Edgeworth pastors M2 youth ministry. He met his wife, Vera, in the Ukraine during a missions trip, giving the concept of missionary dating a whole new twist. They have 2 boys, Jasha, and Pasha, and expecting a girl “Katya” pretty soon. Jared has been working with CCF teens since 2007. His main passion is to see teens learn and grow in Christ—teaching them the importance of understanding who they are in Christ and why they believe what they believe. He is not just interested in seeing teens come to Christ, but to help them become life-long disciples of Christ. Jared enjoys snowboarding, music, guitar, and chasing Jasha and Pasha.
